Become a

Matcher

Matchers are the engine of the No One Without Care appeal.

Every successful matched giving appeal starts with a small group of people willing to lead the way.

By becoming a Matcher, you'll help create the fund that allows every donation to be doubled, unlocking £250,000 of care, comfort and support for local families.

By making a leadership pledge of 4 or 5 figures, you can help us build a match giving fund of £125,000. Once secured this fund will allow all public donations made throughout the 36 hour appeal to be doubled, helping us reach our overall campaign goal of £250,000.

Your support will do far more than add to the total raised. It will provide the spark that makes the whole campaign possible and inspire others to give.

FAQs

What is a Matcher?

Matchers make a leadership gift in advance of the appeal, helping create the fund that allows every public donation to be doubled.

How much do I need to give to become a Matcher?

We're looking for leadership gifts of 4 of 5 figures to help power the campaign.

Why do you need my donation before the appeal?

The match fund must be secured before the campaign launches so we can confidently tell supporters that their donations will be doubled.

What happens if the campaign doesn't reach its target?

We've worked closely with our campaign partner, Charity Extra, and used benchmarking from other successful hospice appeals to set a realistic but ambitious target. In the unlikely event that the full match fund is not needed, we would discuss options with Matchers individually.

How will I be recognised as a Matcher?

We would be delighted to recognise your support as a Matcher. Depending on your preference, this could include listing your name and organisation on our appeal website or sharing your story on LinkedIn.

Being recognised publicly helps inspire others to get involved. However, if you would prefer your gift to remain anonymous, we will of course respect that completely.

What difference will my gift make?

Your gift does far more than add to the total. It unlocks additional public donations, doubles the impact of every gift and helps more people access hospice care, comfort and support when it matters most
