  • As we're receiving so many donations at the moment (thank you!), we're currently asking that you only bring a small number of bags
  • With limited storage space, our stock rooms are filling up quickly (we have to keep donations for 48 hours before putting them out to sell for safety reasons)
  • Shops have to stop accepting donations once their stock room is full each day, so if you are making a special journey to donate, please call ahead to check that your chosen shop is still accepting donations that day
  • Some shops are only accepting donations on certain days or between certain times - please check the details of your local shop to avoid disappointment - find them here

As always, we can only accept donations that are good enough quality to be sold on in the shops. When we receive things that are dirty, broken or poor quality, the Hospice has to pay from them to be taken away which is money we would rather spend on patient care.

If you are not sure whether an item is suitable you can check our list of items we are unable to accept.

Keeping us all safe

When you visit us, you’ll notice we’ve made changes in store to make your shopping experience as safe as possible:

  • We’re asking people to stay a safe distance apart from each other at all times, as you are everywhere else at the moment
  • Where possible we’ve laid out routes, like the ones in many of the supermarkets, to guide you around the store and help you keep a safe distance from other customers. Please follow these routes.
  • We’ve installed screens around our tills for the safety of you, and our staff and volunteers.
  • We’re encouraging everyone, as much as possible, to pay by card (ideally contactless). We have also made changes to how we are handling donations so you know that what you buy is safe.
    - All donations are held for 48 hours before being touched or processed
    - Once the 48 hours have passed, all clothes will be steamed and all other objects cleaned with antibacterial wipes

Ebay shop

If you can't make it to any of our shops, we're delighted to let you know that our Ebay shop is currently open for online shopping.

All the money raised through goods bought in our shops go towards funding our patient care.

Through shopping with us, you are supporting our vital services.
