Grants from charitable Trusts and Foundations are key to keeping St Peter’s Hospice and the services that we provide running – we couldn’t provide the care we do without their support.

We are lucky that so many different Trusts and Foundations, both local and national, have chosen to help us. Their grants help us care for patients and families, both in their own homes and at the Hospice. Each grant, no matter the size, means a great deal to us.

Recently, grants have helped us to:

  • Provide 24-hour care to patients using Hospice at Home
  • Employ an extra nurse to answer our 24-hour advice line
  • Purchase a specially adapted vehicle to bring patients to our Day Hospice
  • Meet some of the costs of running our Inpatient Unit
  • Purchase new specialist mattresses and fans to make our patients more comfortable
  • Support bereaved families and children after the loss of their loved ones
