Glenys Copeland

1955 - 2020

Glenys worked in the Company Formations department of Jordans Group (now Vistra) for over 40 years. In her time with Jordans/Vistra, she was respected by clients and colleagues alike for providing a truly great service - with a smile.

Glenys was known for her exceptional ability to treat every challenge with composure, care, and laughter! Her thoughtful and considerate approach made her a natural role model for her peers, and a great mentor for her junior colleagues.

We will miss her, but take comfort that her memory, and legacy, lives on with all of us who knew her. Here's just a few quotes from her former colleagues that demonstrate that legacy:

"Glenys was not just a work colleague but a very good friend, a 2nd mum to us, always had time for everyone and would put others before herself. She will be sadly missed."

"Always had a big smile, clients would often get her name wrong so we would take the mick with her all day and she was always telling us off."

"Enjoyed a good G & T and a few prosecco's and we have a lot of fond memories."

"Two words describe Glenys – "Great Fun" – love and miss her."

We have chosen to raise money for St Peter's Hospice in tribute to Glenys as it was a charity very close to her heart. St Peter's Hospice were a great support to Glenys when her husband Paul was diagnosed with cancer. Paul spent his final weeks at the hospice and following his death, Glenys would take every opportunity to raise money for the hospice, including joining the midnight walk with friends. Glenys had even hoped to volunteer at a St Peter's hospice shop in her retirement but she never got the chance. It therefore seems fitting that we raise as much money as we can in her memory so that other families can benefit from the same outstanding care that Glenys and Paul received.

With love from all at Vistra
