Our Fundraising Team are passionate about raising income to support our patients and their families. If you're supporting the Hospice through attending one of our events, donating, playing our Lotto or taking on a challenge, they are here to help you every step of the way. 

Sarah Allen-Gunn - Director of Fundraising & Communications

Sarah Allen-Gunn

As the Director of the team I get to work with all the fab members of the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications gang to highlight the work of the Hospice and generate funds to keep it running. I've been here since 2017 and find it the most inspiring place to work, thanks to the incredible local families we work with and the fantastic team here at St Peter's who make it happen.

Outside of work I'm usually found running round after my young family but when time allows I love to head back to my homeland of Cornwall for glorious sea swims and cliff top walks.

Becky Mitchell - Individual Giving and Legacy Manager

Becky Mitchell

Hiya! My name's Becky and I started working for the Hospice after I left university in 2009. I've had a few roles over this time, but I've been the Individual Giving and Legacy Manager for two years now. I love seeing the response from our fundraising appeals and newsletters and am always blown away by the incredible support we receive from our community.

In my spare time I love cooking for family and friends, reading and keeping fit, but you'll mostly find me running around after my toddler!

Louise Turner - Corporate Fundraising Manager

Louise Turner

I am the Corporate Fundraising Manager for the Hospice, partnering with businesses who want to support the work we do. I am here to help each team achieve their goals with their fundraising, volunteering and donating goods and services. I really enjoy building friendly relationships with our partners and hope that each person involved finds something which makes them feel good about the support they have given us.

In my free time I am busy with friends and family mostly enjoying eating great food! I also love singing in a band and going to gigs. The best part of my job is knowing that in a small way I am helping families to navigate such difficult journeys.

Esther Hall - Lottery Manager

Hi, I'm Esther, the Lottery Manager here at the Hospice. No, I can’t fix it for you to win, but I will personally thank you for signing up and supporting your Hospice in this way! When I'm not working, I'm usually making dinner for friends, painting rocks, running my book club or watching inspirational TikToks.

Bobbie Sansom - Lotto and Individual Giving Administrator

Bobbie Sansom

My role at the Hospice is to run our Lottery and collection tins. I have been working here since 2011 and am always amazed to see how all those bits of change that go into our tins can turn into thousands of pounds for the Hospice, every little bit really does help.

When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my family, meet up with friends, do anything creative, read, listen to music and have recently discovered a new love for gardening.

Kevin McGough - Database Manager

Kevin McGough

I have been with the St Peter's Hospice family since 2011, three years of which have been as the Database Manager. I manage the team, oversee our compliance with various areas of data regulation, provide insight and manage our Gift Aid processing, amongst other things. Outside of work I love a quiz and any sports.

Ainan Anderson - Database Assistant

Ainan Anderson

I started at the Hospice in the Database Team two years ago and I'm now the Database Assistant. I import donations, manage database volunteers, fulfill data requests and perform insight. I'm an avid quizzer and love a bit of yoga.


Sophie Cullinane - Community Fundraising Manager

Sophie Cullinane

I'm Sophie, one half of the Community Fundraising Team. I support people with their challenge events, as well as running some of our Christmas campaigns. The most enjoyable part of my job is that I get to meet so many amazing people who are so generous, kind and passionate. Outside of work I like playing tennis, getting friends together for a Sunday roast and a gritty crime series.

Hayley Ali - Events Fundraiser

Hayley Ali

Hello! I'm the Events Fundraiser, so I organise our events like the Tour de Bristol, Midnight Walk and Walk to Remember. I've been at the Hospice since 2019 and love how every day is different, working on a real variety of different events, meeting and cheering on our wonderful fundraisers, and exploring new routes around Bristol. My real loves are to travel, hike and especially to go camping!

Rosalind Fursland - Philanthropy and Legacy Assistant

Rosalind Fursland

I work as the Philanthropy and Legacy Assistant at the Hospice, a role I started in December 2020. I really enjoy saying thank you to our wonderful supporters and hearing about how the Hospice has been there for our community. One of the best parts of my job is the rewarding feeling when a funding application is successful!

In my spare time I like writing and also enjoy sunshine, travelling around the world and cuddling cats.

Nick Wilson - Fundraising Administrator

Nick Wilson

I work as a Fundraising Administrator, helping the team with day-to-day admin like collecting data from fundraising pages and sending thanks. Before that, I was a teacher in Spain, and my favourite part of the job has to be going out to events and meeting the people who keep the Hospice going!
