Volunteer in our Furniture & Home Shop

We are looking for volunteers for a new furniture shop we are opening on Brislington Hill, called Furniture & Home.

From appliance testers to sales assistants, we have a range of roles where you can share your skills, meet new people and really make a difference to your local hospice.

Administration assistant

An Administration Assistant will work as part of our shop team to raise as much income as possible by taking telephone calls, booking in furniture donations for collection, arranging deliveries and processing Gift-Aided donations.

Appliance tester

A Volunteer PAT Tester will work as part of our shop team to raise as much income as possible by safely reselling donated electrical items in our Furniture & Home shop.

Driver support

A volunteer Driver Support will work as part of our shop team to raise as much income as possible by accompanying the van driver in collecting and delivering furniture and other donations around the Bristol and surrounding area and support the Van Driver on his daily routine.

Furniture specialist

As a Specialist Furniture Assistant you will work as part of our shop team to raise as much income as possible by preparing donated and new furniture items for the shop floor, ensuring high standard of merchandising, researching valuable items on internet and support any initiative and promotions within the organisation.

Sales assistant

A Volunteer Shop Assistant will work as part of a shop team to raise as much income as possible through providing excellent customer service and assisting with operational tasks.
