Jane Chapman

1965 - 2020

After battling cancer for 8 years she finally decided she didn't want the pain anymore. She wanted to be at peace, join my dad up in heaven and get to spend their time together.

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better mum. After our dad died she was left with a one and three year old to look after, whilst still having to work full time to support us and of course grieving her loss. This is why she always has and always will be our hero. We have been so lucky to have spent such amazing time together going on gorgeous holidays, shopping trips, hilarious camping attempts and so much more leaving me with so many happy memories to reminisce. Our mum was the most selfless woman in the world and never complained about her illness, even to the end of her life when she was in incredible amounts of pain, she would always just keep on fighting. We will be forever thankful to the St Peters Hospice who made her last few days with us so comfortable and even with everything else that's going on in the world let us visit every day. We ask if anyone, who knew our amazing mum or not, would like to make a donation to the hospice in her honour, so they can continue to help so many other family's experiences much more comforting and peaceful. There will not be a single day that passes that we don't think about you mum and we know you will be with us, by our side forever and we promise to make you proud in everything I do. We know you'll be safe up there with Dad and Uncle Ross. We will love you eternally Mum x
