Early bird tickets are available now for a limited time for this fantastic event which sees walkers returning year after year. The five and ten-mile sponsored walks began in 2010 and over the last decade more than 10,000 women have taken part, raising an incredible £1 million for patient and family care in Bristol and surrounding areas.

The 2019 Midnight Walk was launched today at the Hospice in Brentry by Pippa, Trudy, Emma and Barbara, whose husbands were all supported by the Hospice. The women want to highlight how the end-of-life care their husbands received helped them through their darkest hours.

Without the Hospice, they say they would never have met and may have struggled to cope.

Emma told us: "I'm doing the Midnight Walk this year as it's good to come together with the women that I've met in the sole parents group. It's a really good cause - the Hospice has helped me and my family so much since my husband Steve died."

Trudy added, "The atmosphere on the evening is fantastic and it feels really wonderful to come together with so many other women to support such an amazing cause. It's good to give something back for all the support they've given myself and my family over the last four years."

This year’s Midnight Walk will start from Ashton Gate Stadium at 9pm. The party kicks off with performers, party anthems, face painting and all that glitters before walkers head out to experience Bristol’s famous landmarks by night. See the lights shine on the Clifton Suspension Bridge, hear the lions roar at Bristol Zoo and watch the SS Great Britain glisten on the harbour!

From dressing up as disco divas to carnival queens, every Midnight Walk has been a night to remember. Hospice Events Fundraiser Louisa James said: “The Midnight Walk is one of the highlights of the Bristol events calendar and has enjoyed a fantastic ten years raising funds for Bristol’s only adult hospice. We are so excited to be celebrating the event’s tenth anniversary with all our Hospice Heroes! Whether you’re joining us for the first time or the tenth, help us make this year’s Midnight Walk the biggest and best ever!”

Early bird tickets are available now until 30 April. To sign up visit bristolmidnightwalk.com
