This week is Hospice Care Week and hospices up and down the country will be highlighting the care they give their patients to help change people’s perceptions of hospice care.
This year’s theme is ‘Heart My Hospice’ and this week we’re doing just that! Here are just a few of the many photos we have of our staff, patients and volunteers who have taken part.
We are so proud to be your local hospice. This week, we’d love as many people as possible to shout ‘I Heart St Peter’s Hospice’ on social media using the hashtags #HospiceCareWeek and #HeartMyHospice
Simon Caraffi, our Chief Executive tells us “I love St Peter’s because I know how important the help is that we can give to those suffering from life-limiting illness and their families. Everyone who works for the Hospice, whether paid staff or volunteer, is motivated by the desire to make our patients’ lives better, however long or short they may be. I am always touched by the messages of thanks we receive from patients and families for the care we have provided at the hospice and in their homes, and it would be great if everyone contributed to our social media pages during Hospice Care Week, to spread the word about what we do for the people of Bristol.”
