In February this year, Holly’s Mum, Debbie, passed away at the Hospice after an incredibly brave and hard fought battle with cancer.
Holly tells us: “In the last few weeks of her life, Mum was lucky enough to be cared for by St Peter’s Hospice. Despite her illness, she was able to relax knowing that both her and her family were looked after and she was receiving the highest standard of care. The staff at the hospice truly went above and beyond to help make Mum’s last weeks as enjoyable and comfortable as possible, allowing her to enjoy moments with her family and friends.”
In July, Holly and her friends will be taking part in our Midnight Walk around Bristol. Their team name ‘Queen Bees of Bristol’ is a dedication to Debbie’s love of bees.
The Walk raises much needed funds for the Hospice so we can continue to provide care and support for our patients and their families. If you would like to take part in our Midnight Walk, visit http://bristolmidnightwalk.com
