Local Pages hosts successful golf day for St Peter’s Hospice

St Peter’s Hospice was delighted to be the beneficiary of the recent golf day hosted by Local Pages.

Local Pages, or The Little Blue Book as its known, organised a charity golf day at the Bristol & Clifton Golf Club in August. The day was well attended and gained sponsorship from some well known locally based companies including JH Group, Butcombe Brewery and BBL Batteries, as well as HSBC, Natwest & CBRE.

All proceeds from the day were donated to St Peter’s Hospice and we were thrilled to receive a cheque of £4181.75 raised from the event – a huge donation!!

Although the day was held as a Charity golf day, it was in memory of Boris Bernard-Hayklan who founded Local Pages. His sons Olly & Dan Bernard-Hayklan, now run the business together.

“Having started this in 2012 as a charity memorial day, we were overwhelmed by the support and donations we received over the years. We are proud to have raised nearly £15,000 for different charities across the South West just from our golf days and we are extremely grateful for all the help and generosity from everyone involved”.

We would like to say a big thank you to Local Pages for their support. It’s a fantastic amount to have raised and we would also like to thank them for promoting the work we do to all their guests and supporters too.

If you would like to arrange a golf day or any other event to help raise vital funds for the hospice please contact Caroline Booth Morris or Edd Smith on 01275 391 400.
