Talking About Dying

Talking about end of life with patients and families is often challenging. Many practitioners find it difficult to enable individuals to think about what is important to them; what they want and don’t want for their current and future care treatment. Many practitioners feel unsure about when and how to have these conversations.

This one-day course is suitable for any registered Health and Social Care Practitioner (Nurse, AHP, Dr) working with adult patients with long-term conditions/life limiting illness (COPD, Heart Failure, Stroke, Neurological Conditions, Elderly Frail) within South Gloucestershire, Bristol and North Somerset.
