3 Day Programme in End of Life Care

Principles & Practice of Symptom Management in End of Life Care for Registered Nurses

This is a three-day course designed to develop skills and confidence in the management of symptoms at end of life. It is aimed at registered nurses regularly working with individuals at end of life in the community, hospital and hospice settings.

This course is informed by the Common Core Competencies for End of Life Care, Practitioner Level (Skills for Health, Skills for Care) and supports the National End of Life Care Strategy
 

Course Content

Understanding the principles of assessment and symptom control:

  • Holistic assessment skills
  • Management of Common symptoms (including Pain) at end of life
  • End of Life Care emergencies
  • Recognising last days of End of Life

Course Cost

This three-day course costs £225 per person, which includes refreshments and lunch.
