Volunteer in the officeThere are a wide range of roles at the Public Relations and Fundraising Office in Clifton, in the community and at specific events -
Administration – working alongside staff providing appropriate clerical and administrative support
Banking – recording and banking all monies received at the Fundraising office

Merchandising assistant - supporting the work of the Enterprises Chairman and his team with selection, consultation, ordering and delivery of merchandise

Tree of Light administrator - undertaking tasks and responsibilities to support the 'Tree of Light' event
Data inputting – doing pivotal tasks of accurately recording information about our donors and supporters
Driving – delivering and collecting our collection tins; delivering merchandise
Events co-ordinator – supporting the Team with fundraising events in the community by co-ordinating volunteer helpers
'House to House' collections – co-ordinating and supporting House to House collectors
Speakers –representing St Peter’s publicly, promoting a positive image of the Hospice, its services and philosophy of palliative care
Supermarket collecting – joining the rota for these important events which raise money and maintain our profile in the community

Toner donor co-ordinator - promoting and overseeing the toner donor scheme to companies and organisations

1000 club co-ordinator - co-ordinating our weekly lottery draw
Support groups – our supporters arrange fundraising events and raise the profile of the Hospice in their communities. Support groups are active in the Nailsea, Severnside, Yate and Chipping Sodbury, and Chew Valley areas

 

Regularity and duty times are arranged with the Fundraising Staff.
