It is impossible to state how important legacies are to St Peter’s Hospice.
But the first thing to say is thank you to all those families who have been able to support us in this way.
In 2006 gifts left to St Peter’s amounted to £1.5 million.
This provided the single largest source of income into the charity and therefore a vital and much valued means of support for our growing needs.
How your gift could make a lasting difference
Day Hospice
£1000 could enable two patients to attend Day Hospice for one year
Community Nurse Specialists
£5000 will enable our community nurses to make 71 visits to patients in their own home
Hospice at Home
£20,000 will enable nursing teams to provide 24hr care for 18 patients to spend their last days at home
In-Patient Units
£60,000 will fund one bed in the In-patient unit for one year
