Lloyds TSB Rally Round For Charity |

On Thursday 12th July at 5.00pm, ex England and British Lions rugby star Gareth Chilcott will launch the annual Lloyds TSB Pub Rally from Canon House, Bristol.
Over 1000 Lloyds TSB employees (in 150 teams) from Bristol and the South West will take over the streets of the city centre in fancy dress and compete in a Treasure Hunt around the city ending at a mystery location.

Bristol’s St Peter’s Hospice Launches Summer Sunflower Appeal |

Hundreds of volunteers are preparing to head out onto the streets of Bristol in a bid to raise over £25,000 for the city’s St Peter’s Hospice.
The annual House to House and street collections are being supported by 500 local people who will be collecting donations for the hospice’s work and distributing Hospice Sunflower pin badges.

Jenny gets award for 25 years of volunteering with bristol’s st peter’s hospice |

Bristol’s St Peter’s Hospice is recognising the work of one of its longest serving volunteers today as part of National Volunteers Week.
75 year old Jenny George from Blagdon has volunteered with the city’s hospice continuously for over 25 years.
Jenny has given up her time to volunteer in the St Peter’s day hospice and in-patient unit in Knowle since 1981. She is one of over 1,900 volunteers who work with St Peter’s who donate over 200,000 hours of their time for free every year.

Royal & Sun Alliance staff get gardening |

Over fifty staff from the Bristol office of Royal & Sun Alliance are set to transform the gardens at St Peter’s Hospice. The green-fingered volunteers are taking on the gardening project at the Knowle hospice as part of National Volunteering Week.

Hundreds of dragon boat rowers raise thousands for Bristol’s St Peter’s Hospice |

The Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast will be holding their sixth Dragon Boat Festival at Baltic Wharf on Sunday 17th June and raising thousands of pounds for the city’s St Peter’s Hospice.
Over 600 crew members in 36 teams will be out on the water competing against one another in the spectacular event which has become part of the Bristol calendar.
