Ian Satherley, Provincial Grand Secretary of the Mason’s in Bristol recently visited St Peter’s Hospice in Brentry and was given a tour of the hospice to see how the £4,280 they have raised has been put to good use.

Congratulations to the Chew Magna Support Group for raising over £2000 at their ‘Allo ‘Allo evenings on the 10th and 11th November. It was a fantastic event with a French style supper and theme, and entertainment from CATS theatre group. So much time and effort went into the production and evening, resulting in a fantastic time for all!

Rachel gets her running shoes on in memory of Mum |

Rachel Poulson (32) from Stockwood is in the final stages of training for the Bristol Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 9th September and is running in aid of local Bristol charity, St.Peter’s Hospice.
Rachel who works for Lifetime, a training company providing courses in fitness instructing and personal training, based in Berkeley Square, has also managed to persuade three of her work colleagues to run alongside her in memory of her mum Margaret who sadly passed away in February 2007.

Diamond Couple Donate To St. Peter’s Hospice |

Ken and Doris Male celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary earlier this year with a party at Badminton Road Methodist Church surrounded by family and friends, but instead of being inundated with gifts the generous couple asked for donations to St.Peter’s Hospice.

Lawrence Weston Primary School Raise £2,500 |

Pupils at Our Lady of Rosary Primary School in Lawrence Weston have presented a huge cheque for the sum of £2,500 to John Flanagan, Community Fundraising Manager for St.Peter’s Hospice.
200 pupils aged from 4 to 11 years old participated in a sponsored walk from the school to Blaise Castle Estate on Tuesday, 5th June 2007 in memory of Jane Chilcott who had been a Learning Support Assistant at the school for 5 years. Jane was a patient at St Peter’s Hospice but sadly died in January of this year.
