End of Life Care - Do you wish to extend your knowledge And skills in this area?
This highly regarded level 2 module provides an opportunity for practitioners of all disciplines, (including qualified staff and those in supportive/Assistant Practitioner roles) working in a wide range of settings, to develop their knowledge and understanding regarding the principles of Palliative Care.
The module requires students to consider how these principles apply to individuals and their families affected by life imiting illness, within the students own work setting.
The major themes (physical, psychological, social and spiritual care) running through the programme will encourage exploration and discussion, for students wishing to enhance their care of dying people and their families.
"This course has helped me realise there is a lot I can do to help care for someone at the end of their life”
“I feel a lot more confident talking with dying people about what’s happening to them”
