St Peter's Hospice is the official local charity of the Reebok Bristol Half Marathon 2008, so if you've ever considered taking part, this is the year to do it! 

Not only is it St Peter's 30th anniversary this year, but 2008 sees the 20th Anniversary of the Bristol Half Marathon, so what a perfect time to combine the two!

A Flower Festival will take place in the Methodist Church in Thornbury High Street, commencing on 18th September at 9.30 am through to Sunday 21st September at 5 pm, culminating with "Songs of Praise".

To celebrate St Peter's 30th Anniversary, this year's A Walk to Remember is going to be very special. There'll be local music, great food and entertainment for all the family.

This year there'll be a new route through Ashton Court Estate, through the nature trails, deer grazing in the meadows and stunning views of Bristol.

The walk starts at 11am on Sunday 5th October from the Long Ashton side of the estate and is under 3 miles long, taking most people an hour and a half.  Car Parking will be available through the entrance next to the Dovecote Pub.

Adults £6, Children £3 and dogs are free!
