Detox your wardrobe

Detox your wardrobe as well as your body and support St Peter’s Hospice!

If your New year’s resolution is to detox your body why not consider detoxing your wardrobe as well and donate any clothing or accessories to your local St Peter’s Hospice shop.

Angela Morgan, Manager of the St Peter’s Hospice shop in North Parade, Yate said: “We are always in need of donations in our shops but now is the perfect time with people detoxing themselves to think about detoxing their wardrobes as well. We get lots of donations of toys especially after Christmas but what we really need is ladies clothing, and accessories particularly hats, scarves and gloves which have been popular with all the cold weather we are having. So if you bought lots of new clothes in the January sales, got an extra Christmas present you can do without or just need space in your wardrobe please think of us. “

St Peter’s Hospice shops accept clothing, good quality shoes, handbags, toys, bric-a-brac, DVDs, books and music. If everyone signs up to the Gift Aid scheme as well you could be helping to raise further vital funds to enable the Hospice to care for people in the area with terminal illnesses. Signing up to Gift Aid means that the government gives St Peter’s Hospice an additional 28p for every pound raised.
