Garden Open Day at St Peter's HospiceAs part of the National Open Garden Scheme, thousands of private gardens are open around the country to the general public. The money raised goes to hospice care (through the national body of Help the Hospices) as well as other charities. St Peter’s Hospice will be opening our award winning gardens on the 16 June. Come and visit the beauty and tranquillity of our Hospice gardens. Bring friends, family and neighbours – everyone is welcome! We will be serving cakes, sandwiches and drinks in our new coffee shop (all proceeds to the Hospice) and a plant sale in the gardens. Tickets are £3.50 for adults and entry is free for children. The garden will be open from 10:30am – 4:30pm and tickets will be available at the door. To arrange a group booking on another day please call Sarah (our gardener) on 0117 915 9429. Street CollectionsThe St Peter’s Hospice Street Collection will be held on Saturday 23rd June 2012 throughout Bristol, south Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
Anyone can take part in our Street Collection. We will supply you with a collection tin and all you need to do is to pick a busy bit of your road and ask your local community for a monetary donation straight to your tin. Easy! Why not have competitions to see who raises the most? Challenge your Dad or your Nan! Challenge your neighbour! Challenge your work colleagues! Challenge your professor and your fellow students! You will not only have fun but you can help us to raise money for the Hospice St Peter’s Hospice is the only adult hospice caring for people in Bristol and its surrounding districts. Last year we cared for almost 2,200 local people and supported around 6,000 family members and carers. All our services are provided completely free of charge. We rely on kind donations from the local community to give the best possible care to the people that need it. We couldn’t fund our work without people like you! We need help from our local community so we can help people in the local community! Get involved If you would like to get involved please contact Petra Vesela:
